Connected and playing with a non-keyed MW:LL Trial/Demo. So all can enjoy for BorfDay fun.

Server is at 32 slots. Standard settings. 4? map rotation. I can tweak things as recommended, but haven't quite figured out things like starting cash and whatnot. The documentation for altering the .cfg's is painfully lacking.

 

What I saw while testing and playing a bit, the standard starting credits should be fine.
You start with basic light mechs and vehicles but after some fighting and capturing point or two you can already hop in mediums and even heavies.
In Solaris I was rocking UAC5 boating Mauler in round 3. That is quick if you ask me.

Btw can anyone fly them dam Aerospace craft ?. I seen geezers destroy lances with them but for the life of me i always end up flying into the ground.

Honestly, I just wanted an excuse to bring back that pic.

 

Server has been restarted for the Borf-day Bloodbath. 24 cap (two companies), 4 map rotation of 30 minutes alternating between Terrain Control and Trial of Strength (Capture bases and Beat each-other bloody).

I did finally find a way to tweak income, so a few of the maps start you off with enough credits to get right into an Assault.

If y'all need anything changed, have Skwi, Gihz, or Bear msg me. I'll prolly be asleep for the first half of Borf-day and at work for the end of it, but I'll do my best to get on.

VTOLs are hard. Can't wait to get my new flightstick so I can do some control-map tweaking.

SPEAKING OF CONTROL MAPS! Here is a handy one for MWLL. The ActionMapper on your launcher will let you change controls to your liking but it cannot be accessed in game so you'll have to exit a match and restart if you want to make changes.

 

There better still be some people on tonight when I get home.

I don't think finding players for MWLL will be a problem any more. Especially since it's got SO MANY things that are missing from MWO.

Will work on setting a possible weekly MWLL night.

 

I'll be happy to open up the server to the public for the majority and set up closed sessions for anyone. Depending on popularity, I may end up running multiple servers. Up to y'all.

 

Now that is something i would love.
