Wolf girls are fine too, but I own on DVD Outlaw Star, Cat Planet Cuties, Spice and Wolf (though I am giving this to my mom for Christmas), and Escaflowne, and what I have on my computer makes all your lists look like crap (no offence). Wolf girls are just fine too, but I was hoping for more less mainstream stuff because I have watched all the rest, yes I am a sad nerd who watches anime while not playing games.
I'm not willing to go through my vids to see how much anime I have on what medium. Suffice it to say, I've got crap dating back to early 90's on video cassette (which isn't that old, but the only thing really before that for common recording media was betamax, which failed to make headway in the consumer markets.) I've got stuff on DVD and some blue ray, but after downloading a few gigs of stuff onto my computer I pretty much just watch stuff on Hulu or whatever free network I can use if I want to see something, if I can't watch it for free (relative, I realize hulu is a payed service, but I'm not paying for it to watch anime, I'm paying for it anyway, and use it to watch anime, as well) I usually won't bother, been burned far to often by well advertised and terrible anime/video's between Hulu and Redbox the most I ever lose on a bad choice is a $1.49 and a couple hours now XD
Finished the last episode of Aldnoah Zero, spoiler for my thoughts and spoilers. Spoiler wtf kind of ending was that!? I'm just utterly confused by Slaine's actions. First he's all like "Oh I gotta save the princess" then he saves the guy who tried to murder her in the first place and then acts surprised when he then actually murders her. Then Inaho who's all "I don't care if your martian or terran as long as we're fighting the same enemy. Except for slaine, who's helped as much as any other. Screw that guy I'm gonna fight him because reasons" and then he ends up dead cause for some reason Slaine doesn't like him either. Good thing they annoucned a second season, because endings where they kill everyone off for no reason except shock factor piss me off. tl;dr - it was a bullshit ending for an otherwise really good anime.
Spoiler Slaine was in the heat of battle and the terrans at the time were the bad guys from his perspective, so he ends up saving Saazbalm out of honor for him having saved him and to defeat the people shooting at him. I also don't think inaho or the princess are dead because they said her body was never found, but you never know. They did have head shots from what I could tell but this is a anime. Could have been staged on the spot but who the hell knows until 6 months or so from now. Reminds me no more JoJo for another 6 months.
I got a friend to watch aldnoah zero today. he is all pissed off and annoyed now because of how it ended. I told him this aint one piece where all the main characters have a happy ending every story arc. One piece is like the only anime he watches I think.
I'm not convinced the princess is dead though. But slaine is a dipshit. that ending was just WTF. also the princess at least had the cowl up. so who knows. and if she survived and Inaho was killed maybe she can do some martian voodoo or whatever and bring him back. because you know. ancient race that even the martians don't understand. and reasons.
Conceptual season 2 spoilers of aldnoah zero Spoiler She's not dead, how else are they supposed to pull a lalah sune between slaine and inaho if she is dead. Then after that she will be dead and inoha and slaine are gunna fight it out in a epic battle to the end.
More possible spoilers of aldnoah Spoiler Which is why inaho is Char and Slaine is amuro. Slaine kills the princess and inaho drops a colony on the earth killing everyone....oh wait they already did that at the beginning of the show. Would make more sense to have slaine accidently kill her the final time because you know.. dramatic effect.
Yes, I still haven't had time to go beyond 10 episodes in LoTGH. I've actually worked so much that I didn't want to sit by computer anymore. This is scary. It's been a decade since that's happened the last time, not wanting to sit by a computer... Shit. I'm afraid. I might want to see a psychiatrist about this one, get some meds. My brains recognize a spoiler and I start shouting "BLABLABLABLA" and my eyes lose focus and I instinctively release srollwheel 'freeroll' lock and make it spin really fast. After a few seconds once it looks like I'm out in the clear I dump my brain's cache after making a permanent memory mark about particular thread being dangerous.
