    Right now I am part of the way through Attack on Titan and Steins;Gate. I need to get back to watching them, but have been distracted of late by the new seasons of some non-anime series (House of Cards, Vikings, and Game of Thrones).

    Well, I did ask the opinion of my D&D group (also massive anime nerds), about which FMA to watch first, or if one was better than the other. Mixed opinions though, some liked it, simply 'cause it was different from the Manga(in reference to the Original)

    Also ninja slayer after watching the first episode... its a anime that doesn't take it self to serious and is just pre comedy but not in your typical sense.

    I'm having a hard time giving a damn about any of the new anime these last couple of years. I don't know if it's me, the aging process, or just that anime just ain't what it used to be.

    It annoys me when people ask if anime is good in the comments section. Just fucking watch it see to see if you personally like it. Someone elses definition of good might not be the same as yours.

    Yeah. When someone asks me if an anime is good or bad, I just tell them what I like/dislike about it, and let them decide if that's important to them.

    I think it has to do more with corporate pressure on making money. things that make money these days seem to be not what it was 5 to 10 years ago. Things have gotten more? rotten in some ways. more shows seem to be targeted towards making money off of blu-ray sales with showing cleavage and boobs, and everything else but always covered up with random beams of light of mysterious fog.... it seems to be how they make money these days. Their are still good shows though that don't need it. Fate stay night UBW, Oregairu, Hibiki! Euphonium. Also your taste may have changed compared to what it once was. I know mine has changed over the years. Im more comedy slice of life now compared to years ago being mainly action, drama, ecchi.

    You may want to try out a anime called Bartender. Its targeted more for adults, slower pace, non crazy action or random boob or panty shots... Its just a good show for adult viewing... and its about random Alcoholic Drinks. so whats not to like

    It's starting to reach that point of popularity. It's very much about follow the leader now. We'll still get good anime, but they'll be very few and far between now.
