Armorsmithing and Cooking. Haven't decided on a primary. And it looks like Cooking is another 'omg what have I gotten myself into' tradeskill.. 5000 points and a specialty crafting table to make the tier 3 items with individual crafts returning less than 10 points each. Ithink this shit is seriously broken.
At the moment I'm a level 15 spellsinger (Clown) and am trying to lvl up quickly. I need to get my hands on some better gear, this labyrinth set is incredibly fruity. I want something.... clowny.
The labor for crafting is so high I'll be focusing on leather working. Husbandry will level as a result. ill be dropping weapon Smith to secondary. I've got bunch of recovery bags and aftrr a few coal runs ill get the dive gear if anyone is interested in treasure and trade pack diving.
So I have completed the glider quest. I must admit that I thought that gliders gave you more air time and maneuverability . Is my assumption correct that both of these things will improve when I upgrade my glider and how do I do so?
When you get to level 20, you can get the final version, which has a vertical boost. That can help out. None of them can glide for more than two minutes though.
Had a blast yesterday evening when Gihzmo, Chewch, and I poked the nether-regions of the enemy continent for Lv40 PvE questing. Our first encounter was with a Lv40 Red who kept targeting us and following a little too closely for my liking. He ded. After a bit of quest killing, I discovered his plan: wait, stealthed, at the quest hub for people to drop from their gliders and take fall damage, step in with a few heavy hits, reap honor. LoL. He ded. More questing, after that. This section of the continent is beautiful. Like those parts of China with the crazy rock pillars, and moss, and junk. Not bad. Cat people... who are giving us quests. This seems odd, but the xp's good. Not complaining. Got ganked by a group of 40-50's at an excellent choke point leading out from one of the questing hubs. Stood up for ourselves and got left alone after that. Picked up a stranger for the party who turned out to kick some ass. Gihzmo is in love. With a G.I.R.L. probably. More questing. Killing centaurs. Killing orks. Good times had. Decided to be a bad-ass and jump a Lv40 one-star quest mob by myself. Was doing fine until a Lv45 GREEN decided to jump me. Pounded the snot out of them while still being hit by the quest-boss. Hung on to less than 10% health but dropped them to maybe 1/3 before they killed me. Rest of the party showed up and made short work of the wanna-be-ganker. Met said ganker at the graveyard and told them to take a look at other classes because they were pretty terrible at this one. "Wat r you retarded" was their illuminated comeback. Such high quality people we play with on the internet. So, all in all, the ENEMY continent isn't a bad place to quest at Lv40. It's certainly pretty.
I still think my favorite part of the night was when Varg hopped out of the boat. He was then carried down the river at a incredibly fast current.
