Good fun in the same area we quested in yesterday. Grouped up and knocked out a few quests before a few Reds showed up and tried their best to run us off. Even-level fights were a hell of a good time and we ended up on the winning side for a number of the engagements. Then the 50's showed up and pretty much locked us out of a quest hub for a few minutes. Still. The back-and-forth was reminiscent of the good-old-days in WoW PvP where you really had to pay attention to what was going on around you. Running in groups or stealthing through entire zones was a means of survival. Outstanding fun. Our favorite, sub-par PK'er joined Gihzmo and I for some friendly ganking and trash talking tonight. Hollyopk is in <InsertGaming>, likes long-walks on the beach, only just barely killing players 5 levels below them, and is an expert at snappy one-liners. "next time u shut up and just laughingt" "2 stupid noobs" "stupid noobs u fked now" In response, I felt I was required to point out, again, the significant shortcoming of their ability to kill players many levels below them and make an observation that their anticipated sex-change operation would be far less expensive than they had initially planned because of the discount for acorn-dicked halfwits. I made a friend, I think.
Just be wary of other <InsertGaming> members. No beef with the guild as of yet and if Hollyopk tries to sic them on us it's only more embarrassing for them since every engagement has been them vs lower levels and always with Holly as the instigator. Hilarious, really. Whoever's at the keyboard is truly terrible at this game.
Agreed. Also, last night Renolts and were chased by no less then 3 clippers and a galleon across the ocean when we tried to complete his trade run. I cannot remember the name of the guild now. But first 2 clippers chased us, then a 3rd joined, and I believe a 4th finally came in. Then suddenly a galleon appeared out of nowhere and started firing on us. We took a couple hits but managed to outrun all of them.
Posted this on the forums this morning cause I was pretty pissed off about last night. Renolts and I made the run to Solis and got to the dock no issue. There were 2 reds there ready to kill us, fine. The issue was, I could not do a damn thing. I had to stand there and watch while they killed Renolts and stole his pack, then turned on me. It is incredibly frustrating when you cannot even fight in PvP. I do not care if I get ganked, I just want to be able to fight.

Two character, one from east faction another from west faction, meet somewhere at the safe place, far from prying eyes. Both come with trade packs. Both drop their packs and exchange. Then both head back to gilda star or resource trader on their own continent. You get reward in gilda stars by delivering package from foreign continent. But you also get some reward in gold, once your package will be delivered on opposite continent. Same for player with whom you traded."
Ok, I just did some reading. This is definitely worth a try. We can mail stuff between our chars on each side as well. So we just need to find something that is easy to make on the other side, get a char over there and send them the mats. We can make our Mead over on our side. Sail to the other side and make our exchange and sail home without ever going to the docks. Then we can mail the resources we get to our mains. Good suggestion Haki. We should get at least one, maybe 2 folks with East characters and set them up
I'll make one. I kind of wanted to make an eastern character in the first place. I'll just stick to leveling/crafting with my main for the most part.
Of course, we should probably get the people with the time to invest to do it. What exactly do we need the east chars to do? Do they need to level and equip normally, or are we okay just running supplies with them?
The best way would be to put down a small farm in a ocean side pvp area that is next to a non pvp area. Set the farm to family. At peace time there is no risk. Except the ocean.
An alternative is to start making water breathing potions. You gulp one, breath water for the half hour or so you need to swim the ocean, stay along the bottom where there are no threats or mobs, then surface and use stealth to get to the drop off point.
You can wander into a storm while out on the sea, which Gihz and I did once. But hurricanes and such, I don't know.
Ok, for those who don't know yet, my charrie is Hephka, lvl 21 daggerspell. I think we should keep an updated list of active players in the OP along with server and base location info.
A thought: place an Eastern Alt farm near the shore, open to family, and drop trade packs off. You could do the runs solo that way.
