    Without FRR in the mix and as far as what faction I would pick for 3025, I find it best to judge not by how "ideal" a faction is, but by the enemies it makes.

    My second pick would be Steiners for sure. There is a lot about the Steiners I like, but I never really liked their social general culture. If not for their booming economy and heavy reliance on mercenaries, they would be in far rougher shape than they are. Furthermore, the GDL was ultimately destroyed by their byzantine contractual obligations and the Kell Hounds only survived by more or less annexing their territory.

    It might seem a bit Mary Sue of me, but the Davions have great enemies in both the Kuritans and Liao. The Kuritans warm up in the coming decades, but I have zero issues about mopping the floor with Liao troops. Also, the Davions maintain nominally friendly relations with the Outworld Alliance (where my real loyalties lie) so it's a bit of a no brainer for me.

    But to each his own of course :)

    In all craziness if im going with one of the five major houses it will most likely be Liao with a slight chance of Marik.

    They have the mechs and gear I want. I also cant stand fed rats, snakes or social warriors.

    The Capellan Confederation is also the only place in which citizenship must be earned and is not given out like candy.

    with that being said if Taurian's become a playable faction I will be jumping to them faster then a Steiner could eat a dozen donuts.

    also a little disappointed in the lack of a actual multiplayer was wanting something a bit more robust considering lots of people like to play together and not just alone in there basement.

    The INSTANT Theodore starts running the Kurita military they turn into a serious threat for a while, then turn into one of the only "good guy" states in the whole mess.
