Battletech (PC Strategy Game)

  1. Too early for Axman, no Unseen (yet) so no Warhammer.

    Can't recreate Delta Lance :btears:

Maybe we can shuffle the lineup with past mechs and go KGC, Victor, Grasshopper and Griffin. Be real cool if we could get the Clint.

EDIT: On the other hand, totally naming my merc group the Trump Cards

I'm not that hot on most of the Capellan 'mechs, but they're interesting if you look into the fluff on their military organization.

FWL has some great 'mechs. I could see myself going that route. I've always had a soft spot for the LC, too, but I get a little tired of all the assault 'mech spam. Particularly after the high-alpha shitshow that MWO open beta was.

I'm sick to death of the Mary Sue Davions. Mixed feelings on Kurita. There are some elements of their lore that I find highly appealing, other aspects I find particularly repugnant.

Cataphract, Catapult, raven, vindicator, blackjack are the only capellan based mechs I see on the list. Wonder why the emperor or pillager is not there. probably need art assets for it from MWO.

also has anyone asked yet about rear mounted weapons?

I asked in the FAQ but cant post a comment yet because payday is Friday and already spent my fun what ever money this last paycheck.

Because we obviously have no clue what the map the sphere already looks like so here it is.

Just about to hit 650k. I sure hope we haven't blown the wad and don't make it through the stretch goals to Solaris.

I think we need to have another Operation in which we deliver the Meat and Mead and Swag of Borf, this time to Kirkland, WA

I haven't heard it mentioned specifically, but I hope they use some of that funding for Campaign Co-op too! Would seem a terrible oversight to have AI in the game and PvP, but no Co-op.

I think the Pillager is supposed to be either extinct or so incredibly rare that it might as well be by this point in the timeline.

The Emperor, another TRO3058 Upgrade retcon special, is basically in the same boat.

Damn, made another jump this evening - judging by the sales of the $2k and $4k some real big fish came home from their west coast tech jobs to buy fancy game packages.

The only field manuals I own are the periphery, mercenaries, and operation Klondike. though I cant find my mercenaries right now.

Probably going to buy a 3025 readout on amazon and maybe capellan as well.

717k, and I don't think we've hit the peak European times at all, so that should be fun

Pillars of Eternity only made 696k in its first 24 hours

they should be asleep, well most of them I think because its like 5 to 6 am there. was partial euro peak time with it releasing at 1pm eastern which would be like 7pm in Italy.

I think it will hit around 1.5 million by 24 hours total time on the market.

I'm a pessimist, I'll guess we hit ... $1.07 million, and it tapers off significantly.

I'm at work so I can't check my books, but I'm 90% sure solis is right on this. It's a shame too, because I like the designs as well. You will find that a lot though in 3025. The list of common mechs is short partly because a lot of the exotics were extinct, partly because no new designs had been made in centuries... But mostly because 3025 was granddaddy oldschool battletech and they had yet to expand the mech roster to what we know today :)

well if you go off some of the Europeans in the borg they are more likely robots. because they are always on.

  20. There was a Battletech 101 .pdf zip compilation floating around that had a ton of the old sourcebooks in it.
