We are looking at ways to fix the current party dynamic, if we should. There is discussion of just killing this campaign also, as the original players are pretty much no longer playing.
I like the campaign, I've invested quite a bit of time in this character and would like to keep him if possible, but I do understand we could use a bit more... oomph. I can tank more or less until the healers run out of heals, but if we just aren't getting out the damage it'll always come to that XD. I'm also considering investing in some anti-fire gear, since devils, and fire elementals, seem to be the word of the day
One thought I have been bouncing around: Zydrek was added to the scene to fill a healer gap. We have a solid healer in Quaben. Zydrek can return to NPC status and I can bring in a more offensive caster, like a wizard and that should fill the hole. I think everyone should take some time and get some shopping done before we go back to deal with the fire boys.
Hmm, if you want instead. I can try to think of someway to retire Vic, and i'll try and grab someone more dps orentatied.
it -would- kinda make sense for Zydrek to remain behind and operate the logistics and such of the resistance while we're away on mission, he's got his shop/front and he can manage the allies we've accumulated thus far, as well.
Vic is an interesting dilemma. He has his uses, but if they do not fall within the specific categories that he can affect, he is useless. Your call. I think Zydrek stepping back will happen either way.
Hmm, I might have a idea, i'll send it to you in TS. And Vic is and will always be amazing lol. If they are in his categories, he can make anything happen! If not.....then yea......lol. He will still hold a special spot for the first character I ever made xD
Current plan is that we are playing tonight in Kyr'Kybeth. That said, we have a ton of new characters to integrate (like 4 of them) and Caesar may be slightly late due to class.
Nope, my professor canceled class due to logistic problems she said. So i'll be around. This feels like the changing of the guard lol, Everyone is retiring their characters for new ones. My druid is pretty much set and ready to go. Just gotta find a random name
Alright, change of plans. I have several players who have not finished their characters, their history, and we are changing into yet another mess. Cancelling gaming tonight, I will be around to help finalize some of the new characters.
Thanks for the heads up. We have a lot of character introducing (looks like the new ones are finished). Partially a shame though, one character traveled all this way to inform Jhis that the Jade Emperor has labelled him an enemy of the Empire and to be eliminated on sight.
well he can continue searching for Jhis in the company of the party while Jhis is off on his own obtaining some rare and valuable magical equipment
Hey guys, I am working on expanding the scope of some aspects of the campaign. For example, we have several players with multiple characters. What does Kezan do in his downtime? How about Zydrek? Etc. Some of these will require some space on my forums (www.arcaneguardians.com/agforum/) To facilitate this, I need everyone who PLANS to play again at some point to list their character(s) below. For example: Zydrek - Witch Gygorana - Wizard This will help me keep track of downtime for each character and we can discuss, away from the table, what these characters do with their downtime. Jhis wants to spend a day or two shopping? No problem. Kezan wants to make some money being an alchemist? Awesome. Etc.
