I've got to get 22 more XP to get Astech to level 6, cause then I'm going to bump the Axman to 70 tons, add more armor and a couple more DHS.
Yep. Have to do "engine swap" and "overhaul" at the same time. Gonna cost somewhere around 4mil and have to have level 6 Astech and factory-level facilities to do it. Upgrade table
I've run through the numbers and even with 2 uninterrupted days of work I can't get all 4 mechs repaired. When I try to spread the workload I get everything but the KGC ready but it takes some dicey rolls to get there. If I skip working on Clamps we have a much better chance with rolls to get the Axman, Victor and Warhammer all 100%.
We can still get 3/4 complete and put Sheo in the Griffin. Or I can refocus and skip the Warhammer in order to get the KGC closer to done.
I'm going to work on that scenario this afternoon. Tomorrow I'll work out skipping Clamps and fixing the Whammer. These 2 day deals take a few hours to map out effectively but this is as much fun for me (or more) as the actual matches are.
Skipping the Whammer, we can fully repair the Axman and Victor and the KGC gets everything except 1 LBX and the 3 ammo bins in the RT. All of those with easier rolls, 5+ instead of 6+, which I feel a lot better about. Skipping the KGC, we can get full repairs on the Axman, Victor and Whammer also having 5+ rolls instead of 6+. I'll let you guys fight over who gets the Griffin, but IMHO we should skip the KGC and get 3 fully operational mechs plus the backup.
That also accounts for moving one zone and not being in the firebase for the second turn. That way we can at least start moving out towards our next objective whatever it may be. If nothing else I've made a great template for repair planning for myself that I can reuse in the future
We got lucky on rolls last night. I rolled 5 for Astech, but since I'm level 5 now it came as a wash instead of losing anything. Individual was a 4, -2XP . Could have been much worse.
