Oooooh, I just came up with a nice upgrade for Southpaw if we are getting double heat sinks. I'll wait till we see what our finances look like and let everybody else upgrade first but if we have time and money left over this would be a good setup. 16 DHS (32 heat capacity) Add .5 ton armor RA - 1 med laser RT - 1 lrg laser CT - 1 med laser LT - 1 lg laser LA - 1 flamer H - LRM 5 RT - CASE, 1 lrm5 ammo, 1 lrm5 ammo with either narc or semi-guided capability Basically trade all the torso lasers, get a little more protection and a ton of specialty ammo to switch between while adding protection with the armor and case and retaining all the mobility, all while staying pretty cost-effective for refit and later repairs.

Semi-guided comes out in '57, so, fuck you. You get regular LRM ammo. Also, you're going LAST, since you got to buy a brand new mech and it's a Heavy. Also, because you want CASE, that's over 10k minutes by itself, your mods take 40120 minutes by themselves. So, we'll see what sort of time we have left and if Magnus is willing to bump up the time we have available to 120k instead of 80k. Gihzmo, you're new, all I'm letting you do is swap to double sinks.

don't feel too bad skwi, the conversion i wanted to do would have taken 61k minutes. Dihm made me go all foodstamps on it and not get my XL engine and ERPPCs.
2 ER Large Lasers and 2 Mediums on a 5/8 max armor mech that has only a +2 heat gain when alpha striking and running... yeah, you're REALLY SUFFERING.
