I need confirmation on which mission you guys want: Escort Duty or Defend HQ. I need to know so I can have everything ready to go for Friday (we are doing Friday 9pm EST, right?)
I am a little hesitant to take a defend mission again. If we do not have to deal with Aerotech I suppose it might not be too bad.
no infantry vs. aerospace on this one. like i said. different You enemy is the elite Goretti home guard; expect mostly mechs with some conventuional support. You have 3200 BV in Heavy Support coming from Gamma (that doesn't factor into enemy BV); that is a HUGE advantage. You are fighting in the mountains with pretty heavy cover. It all depends on if you want a more mobile (escort) or campy mission (defend). I would rather not decide for you.
technically, they are both "defend" missions. You guys didn't position to attack this turn. I take what you are saying to mean you will take the escort mission then? I have good news and bad news. The good news: You guys made an absolute killing off salvage last Turn (no surprise there) Senior Clamps is combat ready The Warhammer, Victor, and Axman are 100% repaired The bad news I did the very best I could, but due to failing three times (nothing more than just really bad luck) trying to reattach sections on the KK, it is still missing an arm. I think the Senior Clamps is still worth taking now, but he will be down one LBX until after next mission. Shouldn't be a deal breaker though. He all like "Bitch, I don't even NEED this." Enjoy your money.
So, if we ever get back to a mech factory I've got plans to bump the Axman to 75 tons. Dropping the LRM20 and 2 MLs to add a Gauss with 3 tons of ammo, plus some extra armor. Still 4/6/4 and heat neutral. Costs 8.1 mil and have to pass 2 separate rolls at 8+.
So we are still on for dropping Monday, right? What time? Also, since things are settling down with the Gorettis, I will be sure to get another round of repairs in (Senior Clamps will be ready to go). That also means more rolls for you guys. If possible, it would be really helpful if I could get those in the next 24 hours. That will give me time I need to prep for your drop on Monday.
