This. Next Sunday afternoon would be ideal. I could do whatever time that day though. I'm going to test my office WiFi and see if I can download all of the updates and such. Provided I can, I'll drop.
Sunday afternoon would work for me. I will not be available weds or thurs night. Friday and Saturday would also work for me
By next sunday afternoon do you mean TODAY or next sunday... yea I woke up late, don't judge me. Gonna be online all day.
Hokay, next sunday sounds great. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best. Also, apparently if they manage to capture that repair base this turn, those repair bays are gonna take 3 off of our astech and repair rolls for next turn. That is if they risk it, there's till some bandits to clean out this turn.
Alrighty gentlemen of Gamma, looks like everything checks out. I have megamek and mekhq downloaded and good to go at work, and it doesn't look like the network is blocking anything, so we should be good to go for Sunday. Let's nail down a time; I'm good for absolutely any time that works with the rest of you.
3:30 PM EST/ 12:30 PST then? That seems like it'll work for MH, Tzeentch, and myself. I also proposed it tentatively to Derak, and it sounds like that's fine with him. How's that time for you Magnus?
Confirmed: Sunday @ 1530 EST Someone needs to do rolls with me today to decide your mission. Otherwise you will have to wait while we do it all tomorrow.
Well fought everyone! The battle fatigue was setting in both numerically and spiritually, but we pulled it out in the nick of time and not only secured total victory, but managed to recover the Banshee, save the crippled Thunderbolt and Crab from destruction, and capture the Dragon for Don. Special shout outs to MH for outmaneuvering the superior force for 20+ turns, Tzeentch for his EPIC M-M-M-Monster kill, and Don for getting alpha'd around turn 10 and not only staying in the fight but putting a good amount of hurt down range for the rest of the mission. It could have gone either way right up until the end there, and even though the mission took far too long today, I'm proud of what we accomplished and to call myself a member of this rowdy, pugnacious lance. First round's on me, gents! Also, don't forget to add Improved Sensors to my campaign .mul Magnus.
Such cascading explosions Much scrap metal Wow Very carnage Wow Many victory For the record, tip your astechs folks. You really don't want to drop without the ability to torso twist.
Morning all, lets get our repairs sorted out. Even though we have no access to facilities this turn, we got a pretty good astech roll so lets make the most of it. My Griffin suffered virtually no internal damage, it looks like the Thunderbolt took a bit more internal damage and a foot crit, the Crab took more damage and lost an arm (and with it an ERLL and ML), and the Banshee is missing its left torso/left arm (and with it a PPC and AC/10). I think we should unmelt the melted armor on the Griffin and Thunderbolt first, since they won't take much repair time and should easily operate at 100% next turn. After that, lets see what we can do to get the Banshee's good side fixed up at minimum and the Crab back on its feet, if we have anything left over, we can dump it all into reinforcing the Banshee.
We'll have access to a mechbay and repair facility when we're in the base so it should be looking good. We're only getting into the base this turn. Start of the next turn should still see us in the base for more repairs if needed before we depart so there should be no problem whatsoever in getting all the mechs completely repaired. Fuck maybe even have time to paint it.
Not that I mean to brag, but I was quite proud of myself for keeping Sardonic's Crab in no worse shape than when I took over for him at the end there. I think keeping at range helped a lot. A fair amount of luck was involved there too. That was a fun, but tough last mission we had. ===== REMINDER: Your lance needs to decide what logistics you are taking for this turn. Usually, this only happens when you leave an outpost to go "into the field", but because this is a new game mechanic, everyone is picking now. Be aware that you can readjust your selection every time you leave an Outpost (or rough equivalent of one).
