    My impression of the trailer was that it looked like MWO with destructible environment. I need to see some of the actual gameplay and story elements that stick the stompy stomp together

    I understand it was probably said in jest, but I don't think it's really appropriate or necessary to sling mud at developers and unfairly compare them when they have nothing in common with eachother. Statements like that only help to drive our community apart.

    The circumstances of MWO and Star Citizen are completely different. The circumstances of MWO and MW5 are also different. To the point of the latter, there are two big differences:
    1. PGI no longer has a shitty publisher getting in the way of development
    2. MW5 is not hamstrung by a shitty engine (Crysis) like MWO was (I think it is interesting to point out that Star Citizen also had difficulties developing under the Crysis engine)
    Those two reasons alone should be enough for any reasonable cynic to withhold judgement until we know more.

    I've got hope that pgi will make a good game. I have little faith that pgi will make a good game. We will see. They are already way on their way to redeeming MWO issues because MW5 is going to fix and improve MWO. MWO -will- go to the same unreal engine MW5 is on at some point after MW5 happens. That means all the fun shit like...blowing up buildings, and better map making. Those alone will make MWO better but we will be getting a whole lot more.

    As for comparing it to Starcitizen? Eh, CiG has had to build two games at once from the ground up, TWICE, because of money and design choices. Hard to compare arguably self made problems with a shitty publisher.

    IGP wasn't the only problem with MWO. IGP is no longer involved with MWO. IGP was not involved with Transverse. Recall the attempted funding model of Transverse, recall the IP itself.
