I had no issue with his plan in the game mostly because most people seem to do nothing productive in the games. Or have jobs. And make slave monsters fight. that's my view on the pokemon universe.
It is noteworthy that his plan to murder everyone was foiled by some kids on bikes as opposed to, oh, literally anyone else in the entire world who would have had a vested interest in not being dead.
right? like how did the elite 4 not show up? or any of the gym leaders? shouldn't any one of the elite 4 have been able to defeat him? "oh we'll let this kid handle it"or even the professor. I would assume the professor in each reagion is actually one of the best in that region even though we never see them fighting. and when you do fight them it could just be they use a pokemon who is at your level instead of their best pokemon.
Some of our kendo club went to an amusement park today. All was fine for the first hour anyway. Suddenly after grabbing lunch 6 of 9 in our group had dug up their mobile phones and were hunting pokemans and comparing their findings and going around the amusement park like "hey there's one by that rollercoaster" I told them that there was one in the men's restroom. Anyway, a clever excuse for going to an amusement park to catch pokemans.
I'm going to be technical and say that is toner not ink. Laser uses toner which is a powder. That gets heated/melted by the laser.
Once in my life I worked as a refiller of laser cartridges without appropriate protection. That stuff gets through your basic paper mask by painting the parts where the mask is not fully sealed to your skin and as a bonus you'll know from the color of your snot what color you had been refilling with that day. Also a shower was a must after each day because fuck protective gear and a working suit. The 'shop' I worked at was a funny place. The boss went to Thailand for a 2 week vacation and when he got back the only person who hadn't resigned was the 60 years old accountant who said she couldn't find any other work. Might have to do with how the boss was an asshole who didn't appreciate or pay his staff while the company was making decent profits. Good luck to that motherfucker as his sales guy also left with all the clients and contacts. Just so you don't feel too sorry for him he also advertised his company being "green alternative" due to recycling the cassettes but in reality when a cassette could no longer be refilled he'd "recycle them" by burning a ton of them daily in a big metal barrel in the backyard, another task where some person who wasn't even paid (job experiment, people "gain experience" and don't get paid to do the same job as well as the paid workers) had to do it without any protection and breaking who knows how many environmental laws because some of the shit that was being burnt was really hazardously toxic.
