BACKGROUND
Skwisgaar was born a bastard but raised by his uncle Haldan Kruum, a Mechwarrior in the 22nd Rasalhague Regulars, after his mother passed away shortly after childbirth. During childhood he was always made aware of the proud history of the Rasalhague region despite the Kurita-based education system that stressed loyalty to the Combine. He knew that his uncle was always having "friends" over and that they met frequently in meetings behind closed doors that he wasn't allowed to join, but he usually found ways to listen in. In 3029 he noticed that his uncle's "friends" stopped coming over so often and that Haldan was often agitated and short on temper. He kept hearing the name "Gunzburg" and seeing that his uncle was often sad and figured it was because he missed his friends. Suddenly in 3032 Haldan told Skwisgaar to gather the things he wanted to keep and that they would be going on a trip. They left Orestes and traveled to Lyran space, where they met up with Haldan's friends who were now mercenaries. Skwisgaar began training on Mech simulators at the behest of his uncle and found some skill against some of the greener pilots he worked against. It wasn't long before the Free Rasalhague Republic was declared an independent nation and the Ronin Wars began. Still too young for battle Skwisgaar began helping the unit's techs doing repairs on both the mechs and vehicles and found a knack for finding ways for making systems work more efficiently. When Haldan was killed in the fighting on Orestes, Skwisgaar was offered a position in the Skjaldborg based not only on his uncle's memory but also his performance in the mech simulators and his new-found talent at mech repair and modification. He also inherited his uncle's Clint which he had grown accustomed to repairing and practicing in under his uncle's watchful eye.

Biography:

Born on the world of Rushaven in the Outworlds Alliance, Carl Evans had little hopes of ever bettering his life. At the age of 18, a sense of restlessness drove him to enlist in the Alliance Navy as a fighter pilot, but the stint was short lived. It didn't take long for Carl to get tired of military discipline, and he dropped out after only a single tour of duty.

However, the one thing that Carl did get from the navy was a love of the freedom flying gave him. After leaving, he immdiatly joined a civilian militia fighter squadren, and spent his days running patrols and fighting the occasional pirate. After a couple of years though, disaster struck when a pirate attack slipped through the planet's defenses and decimated his home town before Carl's air wing could get to them. Deciding the universe was giving him a hint, and there was little keeping him in the periphery anymore, Carl stole his fighter and convinced a merchant jumpship captain to ferry him into the Free Rasalhague Republic in exchange for an escort. A few days later, he began seeking employment as a mercenary to track down the pirates in question.

Due to the questionable means of his fighter's aquisition, Carl has refused a background check.

After chasing the pirates across the FRR, Carl finally found them on the world of Csesztreg. Immediatly swooping down on thier dropship, Carl encountered a mercentary unit also attacking them, with some local militia help. Though his zeal to kill the pirates ended with him downing his fighter, his abilities were noted by the Skjaldborg Commandos, who recruited him for their unit as a helicopter pilot.

Background:
Clint Punchmaster joined up with the Skjaldborg Commandos after his ship the SS Love Shack crash landed yards away from their camp on Csesztreg in a glorious explosion; from which he and his 'Mech miraculously appeared, completely unscathed (He claims to have been enjoying a post-coitus cocktail with his harem of intergalactic models when the ship's engines cut-out). The Commandos' ensuing rush to be the first to heroically save the models ended in tragedy, when it was discovered that not a single one survived the crash. Amidst the heart-wrenching wails, Clint Punchmaster declared that he would gladly join their unit, and that there was really no need to beg. He proceeded to make himself comfortable in a slightly charred wing back chair and spent the rest of the evening enjoying many a dry scotch.

Little is known of Clint Punchmaster's past. When pressed for info he begins rambling on about his numerous (seemingly impossible) exploits, which supposedly include, but are not limited to:
- The time he punched a man so hard his infant son died
- The time he killed six grizzly bears in a bare-knuckle brawl without spilling a drop of whiskey
- The time he made-love to a woman and impregnated every female under 30 within a 3km radius
- The time he made the Kessel Run in 11 parsecs
- The time he broke the universal land speed record with nothing but an un-modded atlas
- The time he used an Urbanmech successfully outside of an urban environment
- The time he out drank an entire bar of Rasalhagians

Only two hard facts are known for sure
#1. The only thing he loves more than drinking, is women - and the the only thing he loves more than women, is punching - and the only thing he loves more than punching, is drinking.
