List looks good. I don't think I've got enough XP to make any changes but I'll wait for the updated file to be sure.

You know, going with super easy to maintain mechs that require little/no ammo is having an appeal to me, it allows us to travel "light", repair quick and cheap, and stay out in the "shit" for extended periods. Not to mention having "Zombie Mode".

That works with CLAMPS, but the King Crab would break that mold. Hmmm.

Don't worry, our lance will get top slice of the spare parts anyway *wink*.

    -REDACTED-

EDIT: Dihm beat me to it about the T-bolt SE models. Grasshopper is also a favorite of mine. The 70 and 75 ton weight classes have the most flexibility when it comes to armament and mobility; the Grasshopper makes an excellent example of it.

I'm hoping to finalize some things with Dihm and get all the lance finances updated tonight. Once that is done, we can get you guys upgraded. Also, let me know if you guys ever fill that fourth slot for Delta.

I like the T-Bolt but the Hopper is probably a better setup. Might trade a ML for a flamer for some anti-infantry work.

    GET TO THE HOPPA!

So, we have an open slot that some fresh meat needs to fill. Any ideas on who we can fill our slot with?

What days work well for you gents? Did that Sunday afternoon time work out well?

I don't want to hear any more about meat filling Dihm's slots.

They'll just slip on in and fill our needs.

Just slide right in and fill our empty hole. It's not that hard (or is it?).

We can make it as hard as we need it to be.

    lols. THIS^ :viking:

It really is the quintessential mech of few needs and that is why I love it. I've had this for awhile, may give you ideas: (check the Grasshopper .txt files for full tech readouts)

I think I need to re-examine them, though. I originally designed them to be ideal for any variation of melee combat (arm weapons can't fire when punching), but recent experience has shown that having no way of firing back into your rear arc while in close quarters can be a death sentence. It is far less of an issue for mechs that are intended to engage from long range. For a mech designed for broken terrain and varied ranges, however, all weapons mounted forward in the torso is a significant design flaw.

That 5M looks pretty delicious. And it's timeline-appropriate!

I still like the idea of the LRM5 for some reason though. Just to have something to throw down the field and get them thinking.

Looks like if 00dlez is still interested we could get him in the last position, he'd fit with our time.

I'm unsure how active 00dlez is at the moment. I have not moved him yet, because of his prior activity and I'm hoping he will return. I think I may have to change that though.

I made one that goes 5/8/5... I may suffer through an XL engine.
