Uh oh guys, Grim likes your members!

Just ordered some Bev-Seal Ultra tubing for a blow-off (to be used before putting on my drylock) and for racking/bottling. :)

I think I'm just about ready to go, just need my oranges and yeast, which I'll be picking up this weekend.

Did you really have to go with a blow-off comment following that zinger about me and members? Really?

My first Joe's Ancient Orange Mead (JAOM). With tweaks.

    3 gallons
10 lbs of Orange Blossom honey
The zest of 4 Pink Navel Oranges
The meat of 4 Pink Navel Oranges
    3 handfuls of golden raisins
    3 cinnamon sticks
    3 pinches of all spice
    3 pinches of nutmeg
    2 cloves
    Lavin d47 yeast

After the main foaming is done I'll top up to the neck and put my dry airlock on.

Okay, I THINK the yeast is working... not foaming all that much. Should I top it off, and put on the dry lock? Or wait a day or two?

I would the install dry lock now. It keeps unwanted bacteria out.
