I leave next thursday for the road, I can't count on having an internet connection capable of running TS and megamek until after Aug 5th. Working 7-2 sunday means sat night is totally out for me unless it ends before 10pm.

Well, that's what I was saying. M-Fri I don't get home until roughly 9 PM PST. My schedule doesn't really ever change. I'm assuming that 9 pm pst is too late for everyone involved on a standard weekday. If Sat/Sun aren't going to pan out, you guys may as well drop without me since MH is leaving Thursday. It's either drop prior to that or wait 3 weeks. I don't want to force that long of a delay because of my unconventional schedule.

Looking at late Thursday, how are we defining that? For example, are people open to a drop at 9 pm PST, or is that pushing it too late for others? I know MH is working early Sun, so late Saturday would probably not be all that viable. Although I'll let the two of you figure out time specifics on that and whether or not you can reach an accord. As for Sunday, I know MH said he's working until 2 pm est, so I'm assuming that's going to be out. I'm going to be leaving for a dinner get together around 3 PM EST and be gone until about 6:30 PM or 7 PM EST. With Magnus' exam studying, it looks like this would be the least viable option.

That victory was nothing short of an absolute obliteration with the help of our Martillo patsie- errrr friends. We'll see what the final tally is, but, as an initial estimate, I believe we're all pulling in about 1.5m a head. We also caught ourselves a few prisoners- including a true-blooded Goretti. It looks like he couldn't (•_•) ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■) ...weather the storm.
Since we have done it now two drops in a row, I'm proposing that our signature finishing move be kicking the head off the enemy mech.

After the last few drops I believe that I have reevaluated and redefined my pilot's personality based on the events of the drops. I have determined several things: -He does not play nice. He sprays prone and disabled mechs with molten plasma, and punches the exposed engines of foes rather than let them punch out. -He seems to enjoy carnage. For context, he has almost always failed his scrounge rolls and guaranteed that they be put smack dab in the middle of death and destruction. -He has a boisterous personality. Two of his last few personal rolls involved him partying so hard prior to a drop that he lost exp, and two involved him being so imbued with awesomeness and confidence that he gained edge. In short, I've decided that he's something of a Norse cowboy. He has taken to spamming comms chatter with CSI Miami level puns. The one you saw was one such announcement he made. Here are a couple of others: When the Crusader's head was kicked off at the conclusion of Derak and I gangbanging it for a few turns: "Now now Tira, no need to...lose your head." When our Martillo catapult went thermonuclear after maintaining outrageous levels of heat: "Looks like someone couldn't...keep their cool." He said that one to himself in the cockpit amidst boisterous chuckles. After all, they were on our side, but Dyre isn't the most reverent of folk. Also, whenever he positioned himself into melee range with a mech last night, he saw fit to announce, in enthusiastic-and-not-quite-sober slurs, "I've come to fuck!" So, there's a thing.
